There is more to making a beautiful black and white image than just clicking on the Black and White button. I was very good at making black and white prints in the darkroom and I think that is why I am very good at making black and white images in the Lightroom. You have to understand the principles behind color and contrast to make a great print. So here are a few of my tips on making a great black and white image in Lightroom 3.
